Description
This turquoise pendant is from Jack Boglioli’s Bound Bar Collection. The stone is set in fine silver. The bar portion of the pendant is bound with fine silver that has been soldered or fused in place, so it will never come undone. The piece is finished with a bright polish.
Design Details
This turquoise pendant is about 10 mm wide (3/8 inch) by about 45 mm tall (1 3/4 inches). It comes with an 18 inch snake chain that is 1 mm thick.

Turquoise is a form of hydrated copper and aluminum phosphate. It tends to form in dry desert areas deep underground. Turquoise has been a part of human adornment for thousands of years. Archeological evidence suggests that Chinese artisans were carving it as long ago as 3000 years or more. Also, it is a birthstone for the month of December.
