Description
Three roadrunners standing atop a large, polished and curved cottonwood base in this unique fetish by Zuni carver Alan Lewis. Each of the birds is a darker brown than the base upon which they stand. The largest roadrunner in the center and the smaller two standing in front and back. Each roadrunner is polished and painted in red, black, white and turquoise accents. The piece is entirely carved and decorated by hand. The roadrunner is the state bird of New Mexico.
Dimensions: 5 1/2″ tall x 5″ wide x 18″ long.
